Ms. Mabel Cheung is a Senior Orientation and Mobility Instructor, teaching orientation and mobility skills for the visually impaired, helping them to be independent in daily lives and going back to the society again.
In 2008, Mabel met Mr. Raymond Cheung, our Founding Chairman in Taiwan. Moved by Raymond’s sense of mission, since HKSEDS was founded, Mabel started to be volunteer to support the development and promotion of seeing eye dog services, as well as localization of services in Hong Kong and train the trainers. This could reinforce the mutual help and animal care spirit in society, drawing attention of the public to the needs of the visually impaired.
Mabel shall inherit the spirit of the Founding Chairman, with Hong Kong as the base, to promote local seeing eye dog services and support more visually impaired to lead a positive life in society and contribute eventually.
