Flag Day 2026:
Event details:
Objectives:
Hong Kong Seeing Eye Dog Services has been dedicated to the breeding and training of seeing eye dogs since its establishment in 2012. Our mission is to provide free seeing eye dogs for suitable individuals with visual impairments, enabling them to travel with greater safety and independence in their daily lives, thereby enhancing their overall quality of life.
To drive the continuous development of our services, we operates Hong Kong’s first Seeing Eye Dog Training School. Serving as the core hub for all seeing eye dog services, it provides an optimal environment and professional training for our dogs.
Funds raised from this New Territories Flag Day on July 29 will directly support the breeding, training, and healthcare of seeing eye dogs, as well as the daily operations of the training school. Furthermore, proceeds will be allocated to matching and follow-up services for the visually impaired, along with community education initiatives to broaden public understanding of the profound impact seeing eye dogs have on their lives.
Through this Flag Day, we hope to unite the power of our community. Your every contribution brings light to the visually impaired and serves as a vital spark for the sustainable development of local seeing eye dog services.
